Hobby Art August DT samples.

Well I am sitting here thinking its more like November then August with the rain lashing down outside a long sleeved top on jeans and socks...SOCKS in August! ....it did make this months cards a tad easier to make though as the theme is again Christmas.

This months stamps are right up my street.....and whilst I like the cute ones I struggle with them I like the scene its and stamps that are more well....versatile.  The Penguins are fab but with their santa hats can only really be used for Christmas the same with the owls.....OWL'S AT CHRISTMAS!!! yes just wait and see.
We had my very favourite bird to play with Robin's I love these birds we see them over the park as we are walking the dogs, when I see one I always think of my Dad. He used to say if ever there is such a thing as reincarnation he will come back as a Robin. So whenever I see one I say a silent Hello Dad .....xx

Here are the Samples I made using Hobby Arts lovely stamps.

Tarmacking Classes

Hello everyone hope you are all well and enjoying the summer....We have been kicked out of our scout hut till  mid September as the scouts want to use it for camping and so on  as they have shower facilities on the site.
So with that in mind I thought with Karen Clare Lovely Tarmacking Technique fresh still in my mind and so many of my lovely ladies wanting to do this I would do a few home classes over the summer.....at first I was dreading it ....I have Rory, ever curious home over the summer and also the dogs! For those who have only just joined my blog I have 5 big Rhodesian Ridgeback's .....quiet intimidating if you have never been to my house before...to be met by 5 noisy dogs who all want to sniff and say hello.

But that aside it's worked out well Rory after initial hellos and showing off his tea making skills! settles down to do something normally on his computer. the dogs will either go to their baskets in the kitchen where they can eye the biscuits barrel when tea is made. and I can open the Kitchen door and windows another plus for doing this at home is the Bitchumen can be smelly and I cant open the windows fully at the scout centre.
so this is what we have made so far

So there you have all very different so far the colours are amazing hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoy  sharing the technique and don't forget to go and check out KAREN CLARE THE CLOCK LADY on Face book there you will find a link to her blog well worth a look at this very talented crafter xx
