 ADVENT TREE:
Hi everyone. Hope everyone is having a good day....What have I been up to? Well all-sort's! Went to the NEC and came back with colds We have been decorating for the past three weeks. The front room and hall stairs and landing were in a dreadful state. still it will be worth it. Because of the decorating crafting has had to be put on a back burner something I'm not happy with so close to Christmas as I still have masses to do.  This however I have managed to complete at last.  It came as a pale white wood Tree Shape by Artimo.  I gave it three coats of Walnut Ronseal wood varnish.  When  I then discovered the doors no longer fitted the holes and spent the next three days sanding them down to fit!  The squares are just 2 inch squares set to cut on my Cricut using  Good Ol'e GEORGE cartridge which is set on my Gypsy if anyone wants to know......this machine really comes into it's own for this type of thing just set it to cut walk away put a load of washing on and by the time I come back it's done.t and  The door knobs are a RANGER product and are three different colours! but I did'nt notice this till I opened them at home!!!  They are also a bit to short.( This is what I was gluing when I stuck my three fingers together)......There is more that a bit of skin attached to this advent tree! There are numbers on the advent tree but they are not to clear the shapes are a mix of bits I have made and stickers that I wanted to use but not on a card ....most of the Flowers and trees are from the Cricut carts the Wreath and Rudolph are both  Kwik Kut's die's.
Have fun and a wonderful day.  x

Talk about getting something down in the eleventh hour!  All day I have been trying to take a Photo of this and each time I took the camera out something happened either the phone went or the dog's started barking or my youngest lad wanted help with something or perish the thought wanted to help me! So anyway without further ado this is my entry for the crafty bloggers challenge.......this is after all these years the first challenge I have ever entered GLUP! Hope it passes muster .xx

Just to say the stamp is house mouse coloured in with my faithful pro-markers. The cardstock is a piece of  Pink HUNKYDORY cut in half. The merry Christmas was a pink one that was left over from last year and sorry I dont know who it's by........ I used a piece of green Bazill to mat the topper with and then added a piece of mirri card and then cut the branch with the same green card with a Martha Stewart punch.

Hi Everyone sorry it has been a While since I have blogged but in my defence , We went to the N.E,C last week and came back ill .....This is a card that I have made for an elderly Uncle bless him he will be 87 on Tuesday So Happy Birthday Uncle Harold xxxx Love you loads.

The Stamp is from the Barbara Grey Clarity Stamp Collection. Its a set of Three stamp's the frame with the oak leaves, the Owl, and the poem.
I stamped out the frame of oak leaves twice to make a squarish! frame then coloured  and cut around it then matted it with textured gold card and put it to one side, I then stamped out the frame again just once Coloured it with promarkers and cut as close to the leaves as were possible so as to make a decoupage piece. Put that to one side also.
Stamp colour and cut out the owl..
Stamp  Poem in Metallic copper and heat emboss. matt with Gold textured card and a gold ribbon at the back.
The card is a wood grain card that is always in my stash, it is a cream colour that seemed to go well with the Autumn colours of the oak leaves .  Again taking the Oak leaved frame I inked HALF of the stamp and used it as a corner stamp. then wiped the stamp clean and inked the opposite side for the other corner.....Again coloured in with promakers.  With all the colouring done it just leaves the assembling to do so .....Put the owl just behind where the second lot of leaves are to go and stick him down with squares or decoupage glue .....then add the cut out frame over the top of him so as to cover his tallonsnow he should look as though he is standing IN the bushes.......add the sentiment with the ribbon attched and there finished I hope you like this one as much as I enjoyed making it xx

The lower card has a Martha Stuart punch along the side Double loops I think it is called! the stamp again is by LILLI OF THE VALLEY and the paper is K&CO Mira paper stack. the paper is much nicer in the flesh as it were the photo does not do this justice........However I hope you like them.

Butterfly Dreams Unmounted Stamp sheet - A4

Butterfly Dreams Unmounted Stamp sheet - A4

This is a link (I hope) to the stamp set I used for todays blog.
GOOD MONDAY MORNING Peep's! Well it's it's pouring here Hope it's nice wherever you are..

Here's a stamp from CHOCOLATE BAROQUE This is GLENDA WENTWORTH's New company That used to be Graphigus and Elusive Images. The stamp is on an A4 sheet and this is just one of the seven stamps from that set. It's a large stamp and you will need a very large acrylic block  to stamp it out I have a square 6x6 block.   Because of the stamps size, and the business of the pattern I haven't put it with patterned paper or card but just left it plain. I hope you like these.
All I have done is coloured in with pro markers and added a ribbon on a couple and flowers on the bottom card (To hide a mistake)! added some simple matting and layering on gold or silver mirri card and there we are, these four took me an hour .......I hope you like them.

Green ribbon......
Strange thing to chat about!  But all will become clear. I love green any shade of green.
I have so much green ribbon in varying shades and width's I have challenged myself to try and use it instead of just looking at it and admiring it so expect to see a fair bit in the coming weeks!

OK! For this card I used an 8x8 white scalloped card. Two Pieces of cardstock by K&Co from a Christmas stack of there's I bought ages ago called YULETIDE The stamp was the new Lilli Of The Valley stamps and I used Momento London Fog to stamp it coloured in with pro markers. The green sentiment is a Honkydory one that I had spare hope you like it.

This is a Interesting design Not mine I can't lay claim to it but it is made by two different size stamps from CLARITY STAMPS called folk trees when stamped the trees make a lovely Snowflake matted and layered on red and white cardstock and some red *gem's* stuck here and there for good measure I used cranberry from dew drop inkpads  and a little red organza ribbon. Job done!
Wow well this is it the very first post......It's only took me........ How many years?
I hope you enjoy looking around.  I hope to have lots for you to look at soon. But for now thank you very much for stopping by. Hug's and Smile's. XX

One of the hardest cards to do. Not just because it's so sad and deeply personal but I think you have to know the person well to be able to get the card Just Right.
I used for this card An A 4 piece of cardstock folded in half then trimmed to  21 centimetres or about 8 inches. I cut a strip of bazzil lilac card about  3 centimetres or an inch and a half wide and ran it through the cuttlebug swirls folder, I had to turn over the card and do the other side as the folder wasn't long enough then glued this to the side of the card.  Now this left me with a slight line however......When I cut out the cross and shadow cross at 5 inches which can be found on the WEDDING CRICUT CARTRIDGE. I glued these together and then ran when dry ran the completed  cross  in the swirls folder through the cuttlebug.. I then placed the cross  so that it was hiding the faint line that the folder had made And took two ribbons one lilac one white the lilac one was wider so this went to the bottom the white ribon on the top tied around the card and secured at the back with a small strip of thin double sided tape making sure both ribbons covered the tape. I added a peel off sticker to the outside in silver and one on the inside and that was it The sentiment is a peel of sticker as Jasmine's Deepest Sympathy didn't seem to sit right on the top......I think that was me on the day with being impatient more than anything else. A few words inside the card and there one Sympathy card. Hope you like it.
